Wolfgang Haffner, ist the winner of the ECHO  for best national jazz drummer. After producing the successfull Icelandic superband “Mezzoforte“ he turned to producing Clara Ponty´s album Echoes. Haffner worked the songs over, electronically, in his own, unobtrusive way. Ernst Ströer (percussion) and Dieter Ilg (bass) also supported Clara in the studio. It was Clara´s special whish to include trumpet players Sebastian Studnitzky and Nills Wülker into this project.  Her father Jean-Luc Ponty regards Echoes as Clara´s best and most personal album so far. Due to the magic feeling of all artists involved, Echoes is a very groovey, melodic album. Definitely music to be listened with headphones.

Clara Ponty – Mirror of Truth.

Mirror of Truth is pianist Clara Ponty´s long awaited third album. Clara guides her audience into a musical atmosphere of dreamy sounds. Like a boat trip on a river of natural jazz. Her father and co-producer, Jean-Luc Ponty also appears as a guest musician on the album.
